We’ve just discovered that LAMY will be releasing their clever Dialog 3 in a matte black finish sometime in October, which seems fitting as it was first released in October of 2009. We’re not sure what took them so long to get this to market (maybe Pilot’s matte black Vanishing Point was stealing the spotlight?) but we’re sure glad they’re doing this. In case you’re not familiar with the Dialog 3 it features a retractable nib actuated by a twist mechanism. During this operation the clip descends to the body to create a lower profile. Be sure to check out the video demonstration below. MSRP is expected to be $300.
