Yesterday on Facebook, TWSBI announced they have been internally discussing the design of a metal bodied, piston filling fountain pen possibly dubbed the Diamond 850. The following pictures are a first draft design and will probably change quite a bit. TWSBI has somewhat of a history releasing their design ideas and letting the community weigh in. They take the community’s opinions seriously when redesigning a new product. This, and the fact that they make excellent products at an affordable price, is why I’m a huge fan of TWSBI. I REALLY like the 850 and cannot wait till it comes out to get one. My only hope is that it is not as expensive as the Micarta or the 700. I think 75.00 is more reasonable a price. But again, I am looking foreward to buying one already! I believe in TWSBI!
