MILAN, Ohio – In what will surely be the most talked about event of the 21st century, our own Brian Gray of Edison Pen Company fame has rewritten history by obtaining a patent for the lightbulb and changing his name to Edison.
For those closest to Brian (henceforth referred to as Mr. Edison), news of this event will come as no surprise. Brian is well known for both embracing risk – and being slightly off his rocker.
FPGeeks’ Noteworthy International Bureau of Science (NIBS) has attempted to contact Mr. Edison without success. We were, however, able to reach his wife, Andrea (Mrs. Edison?), who made the following statement:
“Hello?
Hello? Are you there?
I can hear you breathing.
BRIAN! The Geeks are making prank calls again!”

There is no word yet as to how much each of us will be sending Mr. Edison annually as compensation for the privilege of using his invention. Our course of action, however, seems obvious: We need to stop him before he also patents fire and the wheel!
