The Case:

KrazyIvan Daily Carry Case

KrazyIvan writes:

The case is an eBay find. It’s black leather and holds 12 pens. I like the case. It has handled Every Day Carries just fine.

    you should study your pens

  • ianmedium

Excellent and varied selection, once again i have no idea what is the error! I too have a leather case from wkiffin, great cases at really good prices. The Edison is my favourite of them all, beautiful colour.

Sitting in my Studio looking at these pens. I looked at 2000 little details on each pen to find the error.

If I had 2000 guesses I bet I could find out where Darth Vader seems to have misplaced his hood at.

  • Tamara

I love writing with an L2K while in my writing studio ;)

  • Angel Manuel

Its nib is peculiar, there are material that own uniqueness, and there is a cap-clip that can’t be confused… May be a museum can help you!

  • Lince

    Nice studio pictures of YDC.

  • ethernautrix

Once upon a time, er, I mean, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away… and by “a long time ago,” I mean a couple thousand years, get it? “A couple thousand?” Too subtle?

    • snedwos

People will understand as long as they are studious enough ;)

  • The Ruffled Quill

I love that Edison, literally head and shoulders above all of the others, The error is the difference between an apartment and a millennium year!

  • Maja

    “Impressive. Most impressive.” :o )
Thanks for the Daily Carry photos, Ivan!

  • etoyocrebmos

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but I shocked for 2X that when I studied the picture and was in shock to see I have the same holder with some of the same pens (#41 is in mine) and my Invincia is in tartan, and my Lamy is in stainless… Very Mysterious… Hey,… that is even the color in my 2K. very odd.. :~)

Go on a space lemmington odyssey one year in time artistically.
    Nice selection of pens KI.

I find this week’s riddle to be a bit lamy.

Thank you Eric for the opportunity to share. :)

  • Darcy

I’d comment, but I need to change the cartridge in my Lamy 2000.

On a different note, I like to see a range of nib sizes carried, and that’s a pretty diverse selection.

    Focusing on mis-identified FP.
    I think,
Edison Herald Badger and Blade LE 2012 #42 of 83 in Blue Swirl with Broad Nib
kind of strange pen probably sent from alpaha base of Brian in Jupiter.. :)

  • David

Commenting late – so I’ll forgo the obvious comment about the mis-identified pen. But I will say: it is nice to see some pencils in a daily-carry. My comments on pencils… 1. The Kuru Toga is wonderful IMHO, but there are much nicer versions in the Kuru Toga “High Grade” line. 2. No carry that includes pencils should be without the venerable Pentel P205. Thanks for sharing, David

I have one of those Zebra 301s, but mine is crap. Did you have to alter it in any way? I’d like to carry it as a cheap pen, but it just doesn’t want to write for me at all.

  • Breck

Kid, I’ve flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I’ve seen
a lot of strange stuff, but I’ve never seen *anything* to make me
believe that there’s one all-powerful Force controlling everything.
‘Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It’s all a lot of
    simple tricks and nonsense.
