The 2012 DC SuperShow continued for day two of Fountain Pen Frenzy.

Stephen and Eric once again enjoy breakfast in the Executive Lounge, feasting upon such diverse sustenance as oatmeal muffins and bagels with orange marmalade. The entire Edelberg crew is also in attendance.

An ocean of vendors is hurriedly setting up shop in the ballrooms and foyer. A freshly shaven Brian Gray, once again looking boyish, calmly unpacks his trove.

Tempting fate, Jasmine the white poodlish pup, spends a few harrowing moments very near the Ink Testing Station.

At Miroslav Tischler‘s table, Eric finds and purchases a beautiful Pelikan 400NN in Tortoise Brown with a Fine and Flexy nib (first tortoise brown on left):

Ernest Shin of Hakumin Urushi Kobo unveils surprises that captivate and awe. Details coming at a later date. Bryant Greer of Pentime presents the entire Delta Momo Design Fountain Pen Family, which includes the new – and exclusive to Pentime – Stealth version.

2:00pm
Stephen Brown proudly purchases his first TWSBI Micarta. Elation ensues. The crowd goes wild. The nib is dry.
3:00pm
Mike Masuyama expertly tunes Stephen’s Micarta. The nib and flow are now perfect.
4:00pm
Eric and Stephen join FPGeeks fans Greg and Tim for refreshments. A fun idea for an FPGeeks September contest is hatched.
6:00pm
Stephen makes use of ReDuRan “special hand cleanser for dyestuff contamination” (in this case, ink):

7:00pm
Stephen and Eric join Brian and Lisa Anderson, Judy, and Bryan for dinner. Plan for taking over world finalized.
