In an effort to bring you the best and the most fountain pen content out there, FPGeeks will be adding a Hands-on section to the website. What we want to do with these hands-on articles is bring you more information than you get in a new product release announcement. What’s it like to hold the pen? How does the nib feel? How’s it flow? Does it post well? Do the section threads get in the way? These are just a few of the questions that we want to answer and can usually only be done by actually using the pen.
Since the Hands-on won’t be a full fledged Awesome Review we’ll be able to publish them much more often, hopefully once a week. There won’t be any scores or ratings attached to the pens, just a few paragraphs about what it’s like to actually use them along with several images. Most of the pens pictured below can be considered candidates for a Hands-on and were pictured together for size comparison. They we’re all at a local social function, something about taking a dip in the new J. Herbin 1670 ink, so it was a good opportunity to get the pic.
