Bellus – latin for beautiful, because, well, did you see the way this pen looks? The magnetic closure and posting on the Model 29 has been redesigned for improvements all around. Some of those improvement include rare earth magnets, an inner cap, and an internal cam so that you can do a quarter turn to release the magnet pressure to uncap or unpost.
With the Model 29, Franklin-Christoph is re-introducing their “paradox” engraving – something that has existed since their second pen ever produced, the Model 08 Paradox ballpoint. The Model 29 is available in black with four clip ring accent color options: Deep Purple, Old Gold, Fire Engine Red, and Olive Grey. It features rhodium plated hardware and Franklin-Christoph’s signature diamonds laser engraved in the clip.
The Model 29 is available as a fountain pen and rollerball. One of the many things I love about Franklin-Christoph is the wide range of nib sizes they offer. First, pick your material: steel or 18k gold. Then, your size: Needlepoint, XF, F, M, B, M Stub, M Italic, B Stub, B Italic. Prices start at $99.50 for the fountain pen with a steel nib and $179.50 for the 18k gold nib.
