Winston Churchill was truly the face of the “British Lion”. As Prime Minister, he led Britain through the darkest days of World War II. As a leader, he exemplified the British people’s true grit and perseverance in the face of overwhelming odds.
Krone’s Winston Churchill writing instrument honors the memory of one of England’s greatest leaders.
Tortoise colored Italian resin is reminiscent of Churchill’s signature cigar. The “British Lion” in raised sterling silver relief envelops the cap. The base of the cap is adorned with “WINSTON CHURCHILL” and features a piece of Churchill’s personal cigar. The barrel’s overlay frames two hand painted images; a portrait of Churchill flashing his famous ‘victory sign’ and an artist rendition of the “British Lion”. Churchill’s “Never, never, never give up” underscores both paintings.
