Franklin-Christoph Lucky 13 Penvelop croc leather pen caseAdding to their popular line of “Penvelope” pen cases, Franklin-Christoph is now making available their Croc print in brown or black leather on the Penvelope 6 and Lucky 13 pen cases.

I have the Penvelope 6 in both boot brown and boot black. They’re without a doubt my favorite pen case when I only need to carry 6 pens. The Lucky 13 seems like a nice midpoint (perfect, actually) between the 6 and 20 pen zippered case that I’m currently using.

The Penvelope 6 is available for $69.50 while the Lucky 13 sells for $99.50.

If you have no need to carry so many pens then the new colors for their 3 pen case or neck loop pen slot might be of more interest. Quoting from FC’s website:

We’ve acquired a batch of beautiful vibrant red and vibrant blue raw silk from Mumbai, and have produced more of our 3-Pen cases and Neck Loop Pen Slots. You love your pens. You love to carry your pens conveniently. You love color. You love quality craftsmanship. Then add in the reasonable F-C Direct Price, and these are hard to resist.

The new silk neck loops sell for $21 and save you a few bucks over the $28 leather version. The 3 pen case sells for $28 with more information available at franklin-christoph.com.

I keep forgetting about Franklin Cristoph. And that I really really need a desk pen.

And I’m waiting for an FC pen with a piston converter…

You should be good then. All their pens use piston converters.

        :-) that should be a piston filling system… (like TWSBI’s 540)

Me too. I have been thinking of getting a couple of their penvelopes but I want to get a pen at the same time. Waiting for the FC and Edison piston filler is so annoying! But will be worth it!

Just do what we do and fill the whole barrel up with ink via eye dropper. ;-) We are working hard to keep up our supply with current models but the piston filler is still being developed. We are adding some special features to it and will likely be December before it hits the market and possibly into the new year as these things go. FPGeeks will be among the first to know – and thanks for everyone’s support!

Franklin-Christoph also now have a very nice looking single pen sleeve made with their boot leather: http://www.franklin-christoph.com/single-pen-sleeve.html . Unfortunately chances are pretty slim that I could ever decide on just one pen to carry with me.

I would advise against the 3-pen case. I have one and it is too difficult to insert pen. Also, the material on the inside of the case gets scratched very easily. The combination of those two things makes me wish I could go back and rethink that purchase.
