The “Arte Italiana Collection” is a tribute to the original twelve faceted model designed by Armando Simoni in 1930, made with modern materials and finish. The design resembles a twelve sided Doric column, and provide a precise grip to enhance the pleasure of writing. The Arte Italiana Collection is the perfect combination of refinement and practicality.

Omas ARCO GREEN

The beauty and depth of Omas’ Arco celluloid is matched by few, if any. Combined with the old style Paragon shape (the same as in my Hands-On with the Art Deco CE) and I can only imagine that this would be like holding pure bliss. I’ve been looking to add the larger sibling to my Bronze Arco Milord and the Verde would add some color to the pen case. Excuse me, I need to go check my Paypal balance. An interesting pen model, and that dark green precious celluloid looks absolutely stunning.  I wonder what an “extra flessible” nib would be like – might that be like vintage flex?  I am not too sure about the barrel threads halfway down the section, but overall, I think Omas did well here.

Beautiful, love Omas pens. Street prices I see are $800 not $660. Point me to your street. :-)

“Extra flessible” is more like spring/bounce in this case. Not a truly vintage-styled flex nib, sadly.

The Verdi Arco is one I have long sought. I have both the older Arco and the Post 2005 larger Arco.

I just bought this one with a fine nib with Ruthenium trim. Stephan, I doubt the threads would bother you on this pen and the Flessible is more of a modern semi flex. Its going to 14K plated to the trim you select. I bought the mueller in two different trims and two colored furniture. I like actually the stub more than flessible, but its a nice nib, just not vintage really in softness of feel.
