Last year, Shinjuku’s Isetan (Japanese department store based in Shinjuku) concluded its Writing Trade Fair with great popularity.

For the fourth time, Sailor has created a limited edition fountain pen has been launched for this event. Sailor selected muted colors and an acrylic material with a transparent look for this pen. The Profit serves as the base as it is well balanced with a large ring on the cap that borders the glamorous black resin of the cap.

Various patterns appear in the layered acrylic depending on where it cut and turned, therefore each pen can be said to be truly unique. Due to the limited availability of this rod stock there will only be 50 pieces produced. It will come with a 14k gold nib in MF width only and includes the converter and two cartridges. The Sailor Shitatameru Fair Fountain Pen sells for ¥26,250 (~$335).

I think it looks classy with a well balanced contrast between the black and the gold and browns.
