Don’t get me wrong: I like the basic design of the Etruria, it’s a good and hefty pen. I like the ebonite this particular edition is made of. But this one is not for me, for the clip and cap band are not my taste. And I’m being very kind now. Such a waste…

I am pretty sure that having a *custom made* pen case gets you automatic awarding of the FP Collector merit badge and secret decoder ring.

The usual prerequisites are; a) 3 pens exactly alike b) glass lided display case 3) a pen too valuable to ink and use, but I believe you bypass all of those with a custom made display case!

David, you are correct. But, Maja has been around here for a while and I’m sure she has seen those two Snorkels that I’ve shown off in more detail before. Either that or she has better information ninjas than we do!

Unless we know more about the nibs (other than that they are snorkels) on the two right-most blue Shaeffer’s pens, AFAIK they cannot be identified beyond the following:

The second pen from the right (with white dot) is either a snorkel-fill Valiant (conical two-tone gold nib) or Statesman (conical palladium-silver nib).

The right-most pen is either a snorkel-fill special (open palladium-silver nib), Saratoga (open two-tone gold nib), or Admiral (open all gold nib).

I love this give away. Not only for the to be won fountain pen, but also for the great opportunitay to write a real letter once again. Haven’t done that in a long time. I hope you like reading letters, Eric….
Mine is coming from The Netherlands, Europe. I posted is last Friday (didn’t see the contest earlier) and I hope I’m in time for the drawing…
Anyway, have fun reading all the letters from all around the world.

Right. Unlike the Noodler’s contest where if there were no signs of flex anywhere you might be busted, I can imagine no way for TWSBI to ascertain that the drawing happened with a Pilot or a Pelikan.
