Hi there. I have an oversized Delta Dolce Vita and awhile back I was having trouble so I checked the converter. To my horror, the relatively new ink had an enormous solid looking glob floating around. Took me a bit to flush it out, but got it clean, threw away the bottle, and flushed the nib too. Still, it's not writing the same and if you know this pen it is a wealthy ink feeder. Should I soak the nib for some time? Have tried also blowing some air through. Any help welcome, thank you.

Here's my preferred method for flushing a nib. It gives you a lot of force to get more stubborn issues cleared up.

Well, I bought the aspirator (aka ear syringe) and went to it on the Delta and my Jupiter. Astonished by how much ink came out, holy cow. That worked great. Getting ready to add ink and see if my wonderful flow reappears, and will keep working at it. Thanks again for the great tip!

Thanks. As you can tell from the video, my method evolved.....I've found that aspirator to be best.
