What's an X-Pen?[/QUOTE]
These are re-branded Jinhaos, I believe, sold by xfountainpens. I only wanted one and ended up with five. -_-'
I heart when that happens.
Today I'm in ki nd of a 'write with one pen for a paragraph, then switch to another' mood.
School-bus yellow M Safari, black trim, dregs of Iroshizuku Ina-ho, some...
Or you could go ahead and try one yourself. I've done two, with varying success, using....manicure tools.
Ohai!
Sheaffer Peacock ... Love that color!
That guy is a magician.
Did I read right and is the ink actually watercolor? I do own one flex pen, but it's a frankenpen picked up at a show for ten bucks. It has no cap. The gold stub nib is...
Evidently, both.
I hope this is visible. There used to be many more wet-noodle vids on the 'tube' but they all disappeared.
That's pretty noodle-y.
1. Air conditioning here, too. Whew.
2. Caught a couple good things on TV to ponder.
3. I am cranking out my latest story. Woot.
I just HAD to try Luxury Blue....a standard international cart wouldn't fit in any of the Pelikans I had selected. So I had to use an X-pen. Talk about gushers. But I like the color!
And...
Unfortunately, it's not a glitch, just a lack of features.
The new layout for PMs was the best solution to having a threaded conversation I could find. I thought it was much better than the old...
Hey there!
On e of these days, you gotta put what pen and ink you're using into the posts.
I was down to six. But then I had a sample of Tsuki-yo, and a new Pilot Met. And the next thing you know I switched that con into a 78G. And the Met still writes, with nothing in it.
1. Excellent post-Preakness analysis on Race Day.
2. Finally, FINALLY, blogged my Superhero pen idea.
3. Sitting here taking a innerwebs break. Ohai.
*raises hand*
I have a K-rig that I just got and am having fun with, three or four percolators (which SAVED us during a two week power outage, lol), a vacuum maker, buncha Chemexes, couple press...
1. The view of my yard, even in the rain.
2. Orb lost, but Oxbow won.
3. I think....I want...a Lamy 2000.
Now I'm intrigued. Keep us posted, and good luck.
That's been my experience as well.
I can't tell you how many generous people have sent me items and asked nothing in return, so I've tried to do the same.
As a minor, he needs help....of one kind or another. Meanwhile, thanks to everyone for the warnings.
I'm doing yard work. Sigh....
Not in Europe, but thanks for the fleabay link!
Same here. Though nothing as interesting: emptied a blue Safari of Lamy Blue while taking notes, had new samples of Noodler's El Lawrence and Burma Road Brown. After much deliberation and reading a...
Thanks for the info. I did not realize the ink had an 'expiration' date!
Anyone got an old empty to get rid of, lol?
I have no doubt that it's possible to make one that's better for cheaper: Materials engineering, manufacturing consistency in volume and QC control are all much better and more precise than they used...
I'm beginning to wonder if this isn't just a 78G with sheet metal.
