Well I'd like a list of inks that have stained pens, not a list of inks to avoid. I'd also like a list of pens that are prone to staining, whether because of the material or design or manufacturing. ...

It shouldn't come loose because the nibs are the same size and shape. Either the nib isn't in right or something is broken.

I can't hear the recording, but that is one scary pen. I'd like to see it up close. The dragon overlay looks like it's made of some kind of plastic.

Yes, over time, cartridges can dry up. I had some old Sheaffer and Waterman carts that were half full.

Hehe. In my case, it might be habit. I also remember things better when I write them down, even if I don't ever refer to my notes. Like I don't forget appointments that I list in my appointment book.

So, thus far, the list of scary staining inks is: 1) BSB, 2) Kung Te-Cheung, 3) Aurora Blue.

That's really weird. I use BSB in a black Pilot 78G. If I hold it at a certain angle I can see how the ink has stained the feed & section, but nothing else has happened to the pen.

About the Waterman 354 - I'm curious about how the lever looks & the top of the cap. From the pics above, the pen resembles my Stalwart. Will have to check the details when I get home.
