    Hi friends

    I am a Telecom Engineer who loves smartphones, gadgets, photography music and now I am in love with fountain pens

    My Love for fountain pens stems from my childhood where we taught to use fountain pens over ball points to improve the handwriting.

    As I kid in India I collected the commonly available pens like Larson Chelpark etc and prized my Parker Vectors back then.

    When I finished my schooling I drifted away from fountain pens and then the love for writing instruments sort of diminished.

    For my birthday this year I was gifted a sailor sapporo by my wife and that rekindled my romance with the fountain pens.

    I a span of 15 days I bought 4 jinhao, 3 camlin and a couple of parkers, a pilot and a few inks.

    Now I am on the look out best Indian made pens to add to my collection.

    Any recommendations will be welcome.

    Looking to learn from the vast community of fellow fountain pen affectioandos

    PS I have not written with a ball point or a roller ball ever since receiving the sailor sapporo....

    Have you tried Ranga Pen Company? Let me know if you want a contact.

    You can get a couple of the models at     Peyton Street Pens I believe.. .The flat top model ..... They use Indian Ebonite. The are very similar to the Desideratapens


    I spent a couple of months in India last year, Chennai. I still miss the food..! I was staying at the Hilton and the chef is pretty well know for his skills, the food was out of this world:-)
