This is the first look at the inktesting station for the 2015 SF Pen Show. This is one of five units being built for the show. The box in the first picture held 900 pens for the ink testing station. Five of the pens have been mounted for the pictures below.

Ah, I reread Altec's post. It is 900 pens, which was the content of the box in the first post of the thread. 900 pens with different inks is going to be awesome!

No, the number of inked pens will be capped by the number of pens that can be held by the holders. 100 spots per holder x 5 holders = 500 total pens
I don't know what Ricky plans to do with the pens above the cap.

Can you adjust the bias on your amp. The left channel is running just a bit stronger than the right. Or get a matched set of tubes.

Dollar 717i, from Pakistan. Modest student pens, piston fillers in transparent plastic (so the ink will be quite visible!). Read a bit on their site here, basic photo below.

Are these decent for beginners? They certainly look cool. I am always looking for give-away pens as customer gifts. Lately we've been giving away Pilot Varsitys, but these are actually more useful since they are refillable.
