Ah, if you love super extra fine nibs, then you will appreciate Japanese pens. I have a Sailor Model 1911 that I love.

I do like my nibs on the finer side, at least so far... Mostly because I like to write small in general.

Oh yeah, I understand that. I drool a lot looking at some of the pens people post about here... Fortunately, I have a natural disinclination to spend money, so it takes a lot of convincing on my part to spend any non-trivial amount of money on anything. That keeps me in check with any of my expensive interests.
