Sketch of Santorini - from a photograph

I've been trying out a Pentel Pocket Brush pen for the first time. It uses cartridges of quick drying black pigment ink, so lines are immediately permanent. For my first attempt with the Pentel I didn't want to do a pencil sketch first, so I just went for it, putting down ink straight onto the paper. This pen has a very wet, smooth flow & puts down lines from very fine to very broad - it will take a lot of practice to get the hang of it!

To me it looks very good!
What did you use for coloring in light blue and orange?

Thank you :-) I used Kuretake Zig Clean Color Brush pens for the colour washes. They are water-based, a bit like having liquid watercolour paint in a pen. The brush tips are really great, flexible and capable of filling in small spaces if required. They come in a range of 80 colours. I use them a lot; I used them for my weathered wood panel drawing posted previously.

The more I look, the more I like your sketch migo!
I’m not use with water brushes, I will have 2 left hand with that technique...I will stick with my pens for now.

Thank you, usk15. I appreciate your kind feedback, as the Pentel pigment ink brush pen is very different to my usual fine liners & a bit scary! I'm trying to get away from my very detailed drawings and try some quick sketches, to develop a looser style. I'm finding it hard to put permanent ink down immediately & not do a draft in pencil first.

On the other hand, the Kuretake Zig colour brush pens are very forgiving & a lot of fun

That is a really evocative sketch. Lovely! I love the effect of the wash - very atmospheric. Which ink(s) did you use?

First I saw a tutorial on Youtube on sketching legs.
Then I tried my own version of it.

Later I tried to sketch a running woman from scratch (without a template).

This afternoon my son and I found an interesting Youtube tutorial about how to draw a comic mouse using coins.
This guy has a lot of interesting step by step drawing tutorials for kids, try it out.

Of course we tried it out.
