    Default QWERKY QWERTY

So a couple of my pen pals have started writing to me using their vintage typewriters...here's a Kickstarter that might be an interesting compromise (LOVE the vintage keys!):

I just looked at my typewriter last night and pondered a mix of type- and handwritten letters. Maybe I'll break that puppy out.
And how cool is that keyboard?

I've had mine out and been using it to write some Beat-inspired poems as models for my students (high school). I brought two manuals to class to let them play with them and try to figure them out. It's fun to watch.
