    Default Visconti Magnet

The magnet on my Visconti Van Gogh has, I guess, come unglued. It is more attracted to anything metal, like the spirals on notebooks, that it is to staying on the pen.

Does anyone have an idea of what glue would be correct to glue it back in?

Check the metal end of the section near the nib (it is a different colour to the chrome) is not tarnished or corroded or covered with an ink build up.

The same goes for the inside of the cap about half way up there is a steel/iron ring make sure that is clean and free from build up as well. You can clean it up a bit using a cottonbud.

    Sorry.

The magnet that came out is the one under the finial in the cap to hold on the Visconti customization medallions.

Superglue should be sufficient. Mechanically the magnet isn't under any load, so you don't need some crazy strong epoxy to counteract any major forces. Use a very small drop of glue, like a pin head, and then use your thumb / finger to put a little pressure on the magnet for a couple minutes while the adhesive cures. That should be plenty to hold it in place.
