And don't forget the new postal challenge starting in September over there at http://s-mail.proboards.com/, not as hectic as InCoWriMo and you won't be stuck for things to write in a first letter!

Unlike many here, I don't much enjoy writing handwritten letters of any length. But in honor of having just met a woman who does love handwritten letters, to whom I recommended Philip Hensher's The Missing Ink, I've just whizzed off a handwritten letter to an FP enthusiast I'd fallen out of touch with, he having stopped tinkering with pens in favor of playing the cello and acquiring high-end audio equipment. I like to think he will at least remember what fountain pens are.
Good for you! Its like riding a bike, you can't forget how to write letters, especially with fountain pens.
To continue to diminish the place of the handwritten in our lives is to diminish, in a small but real way, our humanity. Philip Hensher

Some 5 questions answers came in this week as well as other correspondence. I've been busy too with correspondence matters!
Three out for Monday post.

I posted about 10 days ago 8 post cards while in the US on a visit to Florida. My kids got one finally last Friday. Hopefully the rest have made it to penpals.

Stopped writing a day to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary yesterday. Back to the nibs today and completely cleared my response stack.

I never receive handwritten letters, but my man spends a great deal of time across the country, so I write to him once a week even though we talk every day. Just finished a card written in de atramentus document ink fuchsia.
I can tell where I'm not wanted.
Someday that'll be on my tombstone.
2 in; have been down for a surgery but they may get answered today as I start moving around more.

Sent out 3 yesterday, with 2 in today. Will more than likely be sending out at least one today.
