this is rapidly becoming my favourite thread on FPGeeks. Love the mini collections. I need to post a picture of my Soenneckens here when I get time to take a good shot of them.

Christof, should we start a 'green' thread do you think? The two selections of green pens are amazing. (And I want to show off my vibrant green m600!)

Please tell us more about these Ford pens. I love the short cap, especially the ebonite ones.

I feel so happily satisfied by this Delta trio. Not exotic or vintage, but I'd wanted these pens since I first started as a member here. Now I got 'em and they're mine. The Dolce Vita, the Soiree', and the Oro.

    Will,

I started collecting Ford, let's say for three reasons; they are strong, even the small ones holds a lot of ink and they have a delicate and complex filling system that amazes me...

Here is one of the most complete pages i have read about Ford, and also written by one of the persons who knows more about the brand: http://www.penpractice.com/page10.html
If you go to a pen show –if you have not you should, is great– look for one Ford and take a look, you will not regret it... I know lately they are a little more expensive than they use to be when I started my collection, but that is another matter.

Thanks Penwash, they are not really rare, the MB k2 to the far right is probably the most unusual.

What's the collective noun for coral MBs? there must be one!

They look terrifically smart, like guardsmen outside Buckingham Palace.

Thank you Amk, hopefully the guardsmen stand a little straighter than the pens.
