Have used this ink a bit in the past and liked it.

Oooh nice green. It appears to have a bit more 'zing' than the Adventurine I'm using and it would probably go well in the LE2012 Safari.

It is a wonderful green. I use it frequently. Noodlers Gruene Cactus is a very similar shade. I have both and if I don't keep track of what ink is in a pen, I usually have no clue when I see it on paper.

Thanks Etoyoc, I noticed a bottle of Gruene Cactus Eel in the shop when picking up a converter for the Safari today.
The J. Herbin range here in Australia is a little limited so it is good to know of a close colour alternative.

The eel version of the Gruene Cactus is a touch lighter color than the non-eel version.

Pics are from the Goulet pen company swab shop.

If you haven't tried the swap shop, the pics are click-able and will take you there

Thanks Etoyoc, I've always just used their pre-selected colour sabs and not the The Swab Shop: Interactive Tool
before. It is good for comparing just the colours you have in mind and I can now see that Adventurine is a touch bluer than either Lierre Sauvage or Gruene Cactus/Eel.

I really like this green in my Ahab, but it doesn't look as pretty in my Parker 51.

I've never really ever considered getting a green ink. But you've got me intrigued, so I just ordered up a bottle of Lierre Sauvage.

I saw a review on FPN and it perked my interest.
