I have, I've even had the RB body in my shopping cart a few times but honestly it boils down to a mixture of laziness and apprehension. I quite like the look of the Vista with the converter inside as it is.
edit: patta there is a few vids on YouTube where people fill the hole at the end of the RB body with what appears to be epoxy.
Pilot Petit1 works great as an eyedropper.

I like doing this with Sheaffer Cartridge pens (early "student" demos)!

After a week or two using the Prera as my everyday pen I converted it to an eyedropper.
Having a free afternoon because of the soccer cup here in Brazil I had some time to do that.
Just like some people commented it didn't need any grease or O-ring. The threads just do the job keeping the ink isolated.
It's like the pen was made for it! Just great.
Thanks everyone!

Well, I "discovered" that the M nib, in an asian fountain pen like the Prera, is equal to a F nib in an western pen. Or something like that! The chart I have that shows this comparison wasn't reliable...
Anyways, I'd like to try a Prera with a more broad nib but couldn' t find one anywhere.
The F nib is easy to find though...

Finally this afternoon the Delta Fusion 82 became an eyedropper. Just a little grease and it works like a charm! You guys have really inspired me, eyedroppers make so much sense!!!! :-)

I turned my Delta Fusion demonstrator into an eyedropper as well. It has been eyedropper-ified for three or four weeks now--absolutely no leaks! My Fusion has a wide, wet stub nib, so using the pen as an eyedropper cut out the near-constant refilling (plus, as a demonstrator, it is much prettier with a bunch of ink sloshing around). I've been using it almost daily and it still has half a barrel of ink left!

I swapped out the italic nib from a Plumix with the Prera's round nib. It's very easy to do and I much prefer the Plumix's italic nib. They are friction fit--all you do is pull the nib and feed straight out, align the replacement nib with the feed, and carefully push it back in. Pull and push from the base of the nib and feed; be careful not to put pressure on the tines in order to avoid misalignment.
