Most recent was the 2014 refill for my Franklin planner. What they call the "classic" size, which is slightly larger than A5. It isn't great paper, but it isn't horrible either. I was just looking at some recent pages (I use the 2 page per day version-one page just for notes) found one using EF, F, M, B & 1.1 mm. Apache Sunset in the B, Diamine Classic Red in the 1.1 and some greens and blues and blue blacks - no show through without holding up to the light. No problems using the other side of the page.

i love mine. fp friendly with a lamy 2000 or al-star, both fine, asa-gao or noodler's black. not much show through, no bleed through, no feathering. i like the format. i have a j.herbin slightly less than page size bookmark so i can jot and close and blot instantly.

7 notebooks from Yozocraft. All of them are around A5-sized, and have somewhere around 50 or 60 pages, I am not sure. Might be more. I'm actually using one from a previous order right now, and they're really fountain pen friendly (no show through whatsoever, but I am using F nibs and less saturated inks at the moment). I also paid far more for shipping than I did for the notebooks themselves, but then I don't expect 7 notebooks to be light.

I use their cream vellum. It's lovely to write on with fountain pens.

Hi everyone! I love the vintage diaries too, and I can offer you a page, they make individual vintage style journals! Look at it!

    Leuchtturm 1917 duocolor plain notebook A5 taupe/pink.
    Leuchtturm 1917 A5 dotgrid purple.
    Midori MD Cotton A5 notebook.

I really want an A5 dot grid notebook with white fountain pen friendly paper. My Rhodia Webbie has lovely paper but the almost beige colour isn't for me. I have their dotgrid notepads which are perfect colour wise but I really need notebook format. If the Leuchtturm doesn't work out then I'll probably end up using the Midori with a guide sheet underneath.

A minor haul of Lihit Lab Twist Ring goodies from Rakuten: 2 notebooks (one B5 with the larger rings, one B6 planner style), and two packs of paper: one 'premium' (dunno what that means exactly, I'm mostly flying blind on Rakuten, but it looked cream so that's good enough for me, lol), and one blank (hoping to see if you can print on it).

But I am REALLY liking these Hobonichi planners!! Wow, I can't believe I was getting them mixed up with the Design.Y notebooks, these look WAY more fun! And the stencils - omg, I have no words when faced with this much radness. I am probably way too excited about these, but hell, we all get excited about writing supplies here, right?

I was waiting for the Field Notes Shelterwood editions and they arrived. Problem is I forgot them at home and I am traveling. I will not get to try them out for a couple of weeks.

Hi Velo - what was your impression of the Leuchtturm duocolor notebook? I really love how that taupe/pink combo especially, and Leuchtturm's colors in general, but have read the paper is not as good as Rhodia for fountain pens. So am curious to see what another "Leuchtturm newbie" thinks of it!
