Judge Merchan has ordered journalists not to reveal two answers jurors might give:

- current employer

- previous employer

The judge in former President Donald J. Trump’s criminal trial ordered reporters to not disclose employment information about potential jurors after he excused a woman who said she was worried about her identity becoming known.

The woman, who had been seated on the jury on Tuesday, told the judge that her friends and colleagues had warned her that she had been identified as a juror in the high-profile case. Although the judge has kept prospective jurors’ names private, some have disclosed their employers and other identifying information in court.

She also said that she did not believe she could be impartial.

The judge, Juan M. Merchan, promptly dismissed her.

Moments later, Justice Merchan ordered the press to not report the answer to two queries on a lengthy questionnaire for prospective jurors: “Who is your current employer?” and “Who was your prior employer?”

Hadn't heard of the UVA treatment. However, there has been success reported with near infrared. Near infrared has the benefit of penetrating deeply and not damaging human tissue in the process. I think they used 940nm in the study that I saw, delivered via an LED vest, but I don't think there's reason to think there's anything special about that wavelength. NIR seems to have a lot of beneficial effects. Who'd have thunk just getting outdoors in daylight might have beneficial effects.

To steer this back to the topic - yes, that's what the current admin seems to advocate.

Defund the police.
Shut down the pipeline and stop drilling for oil.
Sell off the Strategic Reserve
Open the border, and even fly illegal immigrants into the country
Pay off student loans for people earning $300k/year.


The current admin doing anything and everything except what has been shown to be effective, and your ignoring of the obvious, is how you're going to end up with more Trump.

Thanks. I just though the NIR results were fascinating. I hope I won't be engaging in Trump/Biden debates, though. If we were to liken my posts to a medical treatment for having "wrong" political opinions, I think they would be safe, but long experience has taught me that they probably are not effective.
