Turns out that if you cut Spam up into little cubes (like quartering a sugar cube size), they fry into nice crispy bits that crunch once and melt in your mouth.

Pork belly in a pinch, but it still tastes like Spam. I'm gonna try it in a carbonara, just because it's kinda sacrilegious.

I'm glad the Pope isn't Italian. I overshot sacrilege and landed on heresy.

That's what happens when my wife isn't around to keep me from eating like an 8 year old.

    Crispy Spam bits.

    Carbonara - 1.jpeg

Sprinkled on top of some Kraft Mac and Cheese.

    Carbonara - 2.jpeg

    Carbonara, done.

Will you be using these bits on top of some ice cream?

A: No you didn't; no, you came here for an argument.
M: An argument isn't just contradiction.
    A: It can be.
M: No it can't. An argument is a connected series of statements intended to establish a proposition.
    A: No it isn't.
M: Yes it is! It's not just contradiction.
A: Look, if I argue with you, I must take up a contrary position.
M: Yes, but that's not just saying 'No it isn't.'
    A: Yes it is!
    M: No it isn't!

Hello! Today I'm choosing a new haircut for myself. I explored many haircut options, but the one I liked the most was the mid taper https://glaminati.com/mid-taper-fade/ because it looks incredibly fresh and stylish. Of course, in the near future I will go to a barbershop and get myself such a cool haircut. Tell me, what haircuts do you usually choose for yourself?

Dance like nobody is watching, and eat like you're an 8 year old.

I'm gonna make signs with that and sell 'em at Hobby Lobby or Etsy or something.

Very much so. We've had three or four since returning from California, where, a week before we left, there was a 4.8 (same magnitude as the one Friday). Once you've been through an earthquake, you never mistake it for anything else.

Oddly enough, I was going through an old journal and came upon another earthquake we experienced, Tuedsay August 23, 2011, 5.8, epicenter near D. C.

    Us, too. Thanks.

PS: Heavyish yard work before the 90% eclipse. Even at 90% it felt quite eerie. The light trurns yellow/orange, and it gets COLD.

Sowed 5000 sq ft (about 1/10 of an acre) of native wildflower seeds. Supposed to be 28 varieties.

Theoretically, the wife gets to look at different blooms throughout the year, and I only have to mow it once with the brush hog.

Listened to a percussive symphony of a thunderstorm roll across the Missouri hills. The sky is gray, with the vibrant, verdant budding of spring in stark contrast.

Also saw the first hummingbird of the season.
