It's the Visconti New Classic, Sort of a replica of the pen they started with, similar design and finishes, also a 25 year old price tag

Ah ok. Why are they ripping off Parker so hard? I'll stick with my Centennials. Better nibs too IMHO. All my experiences with Visconti have been disappointing ones

Where as I think it looks like a Shaeffer No Nonsense (the non marbled material makes it really obvious.)

Interesting, I will put it next to a Nononsense when it's here, actually, the Unica sort of looks similar too, I don't really see it as Duofold knock-off. The Parker is really in another league.

Default What Pens(s) Are You Waiting For?

A Lamy 2000 fine nib. My first sort of expensive pen. Received one in the mail over the weekend and it was clearly used and missing the cap clip ring... Shipped back this morning and ordered another one to be delivered Wednesday.

I have been waiting for my Mabie Todd twist filler, with a fine flexible nib, for 14 months. I have been told that I can pick it up on 2nd April.

I have others to play with. But I had become rather impatient. The difficulty with this pen was first getting my family in Britain to send it, then waiting for the correct tapered sac to arrive. This is the longest I have waited for a pen. Previously I waited a year for a Waterman Ink-Vue. The reason for that was that special tools had to be made to work on it.

Last Sunday (one week ago today) I stole three pens from SBRE Brown.
I anxiously await their arrival, which I hope will be this week.
    They are:

    Lamy Safari in Pink
    Pelikan Go!
    Kaweco AL-Sport in Raw Aluminum

    Can't wait!
