Extra Fine Nib Ink Review: Platinum Black
This is review #228 in my series. Here's the YouTube video:
Post-recording notes: Cleaning was quick and easy with plain water. May require an extra flush - it's quite saturated. In my converter, there were two lines where ink had dried that I used a cotton swab to remove. Pen flush would likely have done it too - and it probably wasn't enough to worry about except in my case. Decided to test water-resistance because I heard that it has rather good water resistance.
While this is rather grey, with shading, from my 03/F Platinum Prefounte, it's quite black from my Pilot EF nib. The images all look sufficiently black to me.

Absorbent Paper Close-up (top is puzzle paper like thick newsprint, bottom is old 20lb copy paper)
Line width (One of the lines used for dry time. Magnification is 100x. The grid is 100x100µm. The scale is 330µm, with eleven divisions of 30µm each. The line width for this ink is roughly 315µm. With 228 inks measured, the average line width is 295µm.)
Microscope image (40x. Zoomed out to get the bizarre lines and dots pattern. The color itself was boring.)
