I'm wondering if the Burgundy ink could be a Kobe ink. Based on the chroma and junglejim's affinity for the brand
Kobe #27 Konan Maroon /Kobe #39 Kobe Brick Warehouse/Kobe #74 Myodani Cosmos Red/Kobe #06 Kobe Bordeaux or Konan Rouge?

@chrissy Or maybe the purple ink is Dark Lilac the original?

I'm not sure but Sailor Kobe inks aren't known for writing as dry as that burgundy ink. I have always found them quite wet. We will know all on Thursday.

Thanks for the tip then it could be: Kyo-iro 05 Keage Sakura. They are very dry

This one looks a bit too pink, but I've been confused with swatches before! That said the first google result for Kyo-iro 05 Keage Sakura lead me (indirectly) to Robert Oster Plumb nut. I don't have much experience with RO inks, it's a brand I tend to forget!

Robert Oster is a brand that junglejim has been known to use for a MI before.
I don't mind whether MI#59 is one of the forms of Lamy Dark Lilac or not. However, that ink is an almost direct clone of that colour. Whether it has the best representation of the gold sheen remains to be seen....
I have no idea what the other two are although Robert Oster does make more cerulean blue inks than any other manufacturer.

One last lame attempt at trying to guess if MI 57 could be Robert Oster plumb nut or not, unsuccessful but I like the green halo with that atrociously thick Lamy M.

Eventually Organics Studio Mercury red, but that would be pushing
I am now realizing that the Vinta ink is a shimmer one, so obviously not a match with MI #57.
Based on chromatography, I don't think it's Robert Oster Plumb nut either. Dryish flow and low lubrication could point to something like Troublemaker Rodeo.
Ok, the reveal is soon, I'll try not to fall off the cliff just yet.

Edit: adding Wearingeul Geppetto to the list.

It is now time for the Mystery Inks reveal.

MI #57 is a deep dark red from Romania/Hungary. It works wonderfully with wet nibs like Pelikan and is a Cult Pens exclusive. The ink is Pennonia Kiralybibor (Regal Crimson).

    https://cultpens.com/products/cult-p...43587167584499

MI #58 is a Cerulean Blue from a company that makes lots of ink in this color. It is Robert Oster Blue Water Ice.

    https://vanness1938.com/products/rob...963a8de3&_ss=c

MI #59 was a bit of a puzzler. Several on-line Ink reviewers have called it the closest clone to the "Original" Unobtanium Lamy Dark Lilac, and I agree. It has the color, wetness, and most importantly the gold sheen. The "New" Lamy Dark Lilac is still slightly off color and has a Green sheen instead of the original's gold sheen. MI #59 is a brand new bottle of Diamine Pansy, purchased from Cult pens.

I hope you enjoyed this current Mystery Inks challenge and thank-you all for participating. The next three Mystery Inks have been chosen and put away, and new sign-ups will occur some time in mid-August, the good Lord willing.

Thank you as always jumglejim for hosting this event for us

I am very sorry, I'm still behind on mine due to unforseen health problems for my mother and myself but I didn't want to hold the ink reveal up for anyone. I will hopefully get to work some more on my reviews the next few days and hopefully finish them over the weekend. I will still post mine even though the inks have already been revealed, hopefully without looking at what they actually are. Again I apologize for being this far behind.

Thanks very much once more for the writing pleasure junglejim. I really enjoyed it.

I've always known that the closest ink to Lamy Dark Lilac was Diamine Pansy but my part bottle sample is old and must have darkened in the plastic bottle as a result. I must get myself another bottle from what must be a newer batch made by Diamine.
Has Robert Oster Blue Water Ice been a previous MI? I have a small sample vial that I used as my comparison ink. I need to find out where that came from....

Chrissy, I think your previous sample vial came from the Writing Desk. You posted an ink review of Blue Water Ice a few years ago.
