For sale is an unused Montblanc Chopin (145) with a rarely seen "S" nib.
Not much to explain. Black resin, golden trims, screw-on cap, C/C filler, 14K gold dual tone "S" nib.

Box, pen, and papers. I'll keep the CD .

An S nib is essential a large Kugel nib that writes the same width regardless of angle. Think of a ball point pen in that regard. It was a special order nib in the 145 size only for many years.

Excactly as @zaddick says. It's a big round point. You get a regular handwriting and has a large sweet spot. It's production was halted because MB's CEO considered that Montblanc nibs had to have some kind of "character". The curious thing is that this nib has lots of tipping material, so it's great for grinding at one's prefererred width/style

Before Brexit we could receive anything from anywhere within the EU without any concerns about borders or Customs - we were included just like you easily send goods to any state. After Brexit we are a different country like all other countries outside of the EU worldwide and everything over a certain amount has to go to Customs to pay Import Taxes, Customs duties and additional courier fees to sort the payment out. Items under that amount, no matter where they are in the world have to have UK taxes paid at source before shipping.

Since Brexit I even returned a Lamy 2000 to Lamy for a free nib exchange and German Customs stopped it and demanded customs fees even though it was clearly marked as an item being returned to the manufacturer for repair as Lamy advised me to write. Lamy was even told they had to collect in it person and pay the fees before it would be released. Completely mad. That's what you might call a cutter.
