Your thread is a fun read. All the beautiful colors and the names! You've got the personalities of your pens through the names.

Just sharing some additional Lamy porn - mostly because these colors make me happy:

    Colors make me happy, too!
My other pen is a Montblanc.

And my other blog is a tumblr!

It is, as far as I know there has only been one brown Lamy Al-Star! It's official name was Coffee though. Do you have it yet - what do you think?? I've been tempted to get another ever since mine was lost. But they're a little higher than my budget wants to pay right now since they are so hard to find!!

Coffee, for, me, is more dear than Chocolate so I'm in!

Not here yet, it's coming from "missing-pen" in Germany via eBay. He had more than one; I paid $56., if that helps.

I nearly bought one of those in DC after I misread a price tag.
"What are moon-letters?" asked the hobbit full of excitement. He loved maps, as I have told you before; and he also loved runes and letters, and cunning handwriting, though when he wrote himself it was a bit thin and spidery.

This did arrive about a week ago. A nice tasty coffee brown with a surfin' 1.5 nib--perfect!

My latest Lamy love-affair is with the new 2015 LE Copper Orange Al-Star. It's such a brilliant warm copper, it's one of those pens that's way better in person.
