    Default Kaweco Dia2

I just got this lovely pen delivered to my door. It looks so classic and while I have yet to write with it I expect it will work well. The fact the KawecoSport and AlSport nibs can all be shared I am sure it will be well used for many years.

I am curious who else has one and how they are liking it?

I will inaugurate the pen with some Montblanc Alfred Hitchcock Red.

I bought one of these with gold trim and a fine point nib at the Long Island Pen Show. I've inked it with Visconti brown and it's even a delightful daily writer. It's a smooth and so far has not exhibited any hard start problems.

Mine did not come with a converter so I'm using a cartridge at this point. I do prefer a converter to accommodate my many ink colors so that will be remedied soon.

I must also say that I'm quite taken by the retro feel of the box. The snap mechanism is a fun change from the everyday hinged boxes.

Yes the box is a nice retro style and has a vintage feel. It is a very smart marketing accent that compliments the image being created. The pen is well balanced and wrote well right out of the box.

Very nice! I was in the Wonderpens shop a month or two ago, and picked up an Allrounder, I was going to go for the TWSBI classic, but in person I didn't like the look of it as much as the Kaweco with it's tiny and adorable nib. And once I tried it out I was sold.

Please let us know how you like it, (and I'd personally love a pic of the nib, if you have the time).
