    Default No Waterman focus group

I want to show off my Watermans and there is no Waterman brand focus group. There is Esterbrook, Parker and Whal et al, but no place for my handful of English and Canadian Watermans.

    Hi

Not only no Waterman section but also no Conwat Stewart one as well, two major players in the pen world and both ignored in the brand focus section.

I'm about to sell a gorgeous black 475. Assume it is 1937-1940. I also have a very early Waterman's 1905.

    Best,

    Adrian.

See that is why one is needed, so that you can post your pics. I for one am curious about both those pens.

I was wondering why there's no Waterman forum too.

Is any of you volunteering? A pm to Dan should set the ball rolling.
"What are moon-letters?" asked the hobbit full of excitement. He loved maps, as I have told you before; and he also loved runes and letters, and cunning handwriting, though when he wrote himself it was a bit thin and spidery.

Never saw the 475, but the BCHR Waterman is interesting to me.

This is what a 475 looks like (First two postings on top of the page):

There doesn't have to be a specific sub-forum for you to post about that brand. Not every brand will have its own sub-forum. When that's the case, the appropriate place would be the Pens In General forum.

After looking at the number of Waterman threads, it may be beneficial to have its own sub-forum.

They're not being ignored. They just weren't created when the forum was and there hasn't been enough conversation to warrant their creation.

The Waterman forum has been created. I've moved all the Waterman threads I could find. If you see any missed, let me know.

    Hi all,

Anyone know anything about a stripy Waterman's W5 with gold clip and three gold rings middle wide ? The nib is a unique. Not sure if correct nib but one in pen when I got it.

    best,

    Adrian.

Oh, think I have found a link for the W5 http://goodwriterspens.com/2013/01/27/waterman-w5/

My nib is clearly not the right one. Do any of you know how to bend back the clip on these as mine sits up too far? Does it twist off from top or need a screw driver? I would send picture but still don't know hoe to post picture.

    Best,

    Adrian.

This is a perfect topic for the new Waterman Brand Focus forum. Start a topic and if you can post pictures.

PM Dan, as I did over the Waterman group. I do not know much about CS, I only have my sister's old black CS school pen, but will try to contribute to get it going.
