    Default Omas Ogiva Arco Brown

I got an Omas Ogiva Arco Brown fountain pen at the recent DC pen show. I have looked it up online and discovered that these pens are supposed to be a limited edition; only 527 made. The only text I can find on the pen is located on the cap, and all it says is "Omas Italy." There are no numbers. I was ignorant of the fact that these pens were limited editions, so I have questions:

Do they have a production run that is not limited in nature?
Could this be a prototype pen that found its way onto the market?

Look up on the section and see if anything is there.

One of the photos from Nibs.com shows the faint imprint details on the body for a prototype pen. But Italian pen makers may put indications anywhere on the pen, cap, body , section etc.

If what you have is one of the LE Ogivas issued in the last year or two, there were 527 fountain pens of each color and the piece number (xx/527) is marked between the cap threads and barrel.

Thanks to those who responded. I found the LE numbers on the section: 173/527. They are extremely faint, and I had to use my illuminated loupe to find and read them. The pen has a fine "fless" nib. Excellent writer!

Hello fellow FP enthusiasts. I have recently acquired various pens, and was wondering if you could help me with identifying them. So here we go.

I have several Omas pens, let me start it this one. After doing some research think it is an Arte Italiana- Arco. Anyone know This one?

I'll also include a photo of a (seemingly) vintage black Omas Extra, and a ivory colored Omas.

    Thanks!

The first pen is not an Arco. It is a Omas Bologna in Blue-Orange resin. The body is acrylic. This is a modern pen and still available from retailers.

The second is a Omas Extra 557S Ogival. I would guess a 1980's pen. (I'm assuming the pen is large. It could be a 556S).

The last is the Omas Bibliotheque Nationale LE from 1994. The body is made from vegetal resin.
