That looks like a Hakumin Urushi Edison. And it is beautiful. It looks like it's based on the Pearl

I have one -- much less elaborate -- and I like mine even more than my Nakaya.

This is not my pen. It is out of my league. I need to find out about it to clean and store it away for its owner. Do you know of any special care I need to take flushing and cleaning this?

Here is the website of Ernest Shin, who is the very nice guy behind Hakumin Urushi.

I hope some day, if I'm really good, and I ever stop buying pens, I can someday get another from him and Brian Gray.

I figured. I would just clean it the same way, with the same precautions as in the other thread about not soaking it or letting it sit out in the sun. Luckily the Edison also is a c/c pen, and you can remove the converter and nib if you need to for cleaning.

I don't think there's any special care needed otherwise, but you could email Ernest to ask him.

Thanks for the info about it being C/C. I did not even want to try twisting it open until I knew what I was dealing with.

Might be nice to leave the original post intact, so we can all see what a Hakuna Matata looks like.
