Hmmm no pic of the clip? Could that be the problem?

The clip placement seems to be too high...and the breather hole isn't the 'keyhole' shape?

Nice patterning on the barrel and cap, I like the concentric elipse effect.
The grip section with the nib looks redder than the main body.
Pity the breather hole isn't clover shaped to enhance the luck theme.

Nice pen! Lucky to get her with the boxI don't know whats wrong, but a guess--the nib is not matched to the nib style band on the cap?

And you are the winner! Wrong nib, and a 52 barrel, which i think makes it a Waterman 5...
