    Default Howdy from Canberra, Australia

    Howdy,

    Long time lurker...finally joined

I'm in the process of consolidating my vintage Nikon camera equipment and many, many pocket knives into a single fountain pen 'user' collection.

I'm a teacher and use my pens at work. Lately though I've been working on my handwriting and have been enjoying 'flex'. The bug has bitten me and I'm now searching for a wet noodle to buy/trade for.

I'm also typing one handed as my 8 month old baby is on my lap, grabbing at all my ink bottles..poorly planned on my part!

See you all in the writing and trading forums soon!

Hi all, thanks for the welcome. Good to know us Nikon film types are still around. I took down my F, FT3 and FE2's today, alas they will all be going!

Yep, I get it. Very close to selling my PRS Santana to raise funds for a Nakaya. What IS that????

Apologies for the slow reply, I was away on holidays. Canon? Made some excellent cameras, as did most makers. To eb honest, I can't see a reason for going for one over the other any more, all much of a muchness.

Clearly they had a higher and more comprehensive conception of the duties of society toward it's members than had the lawgivers of Europe of the time, and they imposed obligations upon it that were shirked elsewhere... But it is the provisions for public education which, from the very first, throw into the clearest relief the originality of American civilization.
