    Default ~FS~ Sheaffer's g.f. Snorkel - Parker Vac - Vac fill 51 Demi

    Hi all,

These pens all have been restored inside and out and are ready to fill
    with ink and use.

If you see one or more pens that you like, please reply to me at:

    Pen #1. ~On Hold~ for J.P.

1950's Sheaffer's Snorkel Triumph in all gold filled. The pen
has no brassing, but it does have typical dents and flattened spots on
the top of the cap, see photo, and barrel end. It has two flattened
spots on the barrel end and a ding on the top and two more flattened
areas. There is also a very shallow dent on the back of the cap. Other
than that it's a great pen! The indicia panel on the barrel has not
been personalized. It has groups of five longitudinal lines that are
deep. I replaced the snorkel point gasket and the barrel o-ring. One
thing I noticed in the photos is that I need to wipe the pen down to
remove the excess polishing compound that I missed (done). These
gold filled Snorkels are slightly larger in diameter than a normal
Snorkel, also a bit harder to find. The nib is a very smooth writing
two tone conical Triumph 14K, with nice flow. Capped the pen
    measures 5 1/2 inches or 14 cm.

~On Hold~ for J.P. $150.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
    "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

    2. ~SOLD~ to E.D.

1946 Parker Vacumatic Junior in black. This is one of the nicer
examples of a Vac Jr. that I have seen. There is no damage of any kind
to report on this pen. The barrel transparency is not perfect, it is
very light yellow and I would call still call it excellent transparency.
The barrel imprint is deep with sharp raised edges. Even the threads
where the blind cap screws on have very little wear on the black
anodized surface. The clip still has the original clear lacquer coating,
which I left intact to help protect the gold layer. The nib is a smooth
writing Extra Fine 14K arrow, that borders on fine. Capped the pen
measures 5 inches or 12.6 cm. The condition of this pen is Excellent plus.

~SOLD~ to E.D. $165.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
    "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

    3. ~SOLD~ to E.D.

1948 Parker 51 Demi in black with gold filled cap. This one has a
Vacumatic filling system. The 51 Demi size Vacumatic fill pens were
only made in 1947 and '48 and are much harder to find than the full
size version. The cap is a continuous longitudinal lined version and
has no damage other than a few micro scratches. The nib is a smooth
writing Extra Fine 14K. Capped the pen measures 4 13/16 inches or 12.2
    cm. The condition is Excellent.

~SOLD~ to E.D. $150.00 shipping included in the U.S. Foreign shipping see
    "Rules, Shipping, Etc." below.

    Rules, Shipping, Etc.

The usual rules apply, the person sending the first e-mail on an item
~stating intent to purchase~ gets the item. I will give you 5 days to
decide if you like the pen or not. I prefer payment by PayPal but also
accept checks or money orders in USD. I can only accept payment by
PayPal from countries outside the U.S. I ship worldwide, so
    international customers are always welcome.

Prices are post paid in the U.S., and will be shipped with a tracking
number and insurance. I normally ship inside the U.S. by U.S.
Postal Service Priority Mail, which is $24.75 to most countries,
except Canada, which is less. I can also ship to other countries by
by Express International Mail, if you request it, but it is costly.

Return Policy: I will always allow pens, or other items, to be
returned. If there is a problem I would prefer the chance to fix the problem
or replace the item, when and if possible. Otherwise a full refund
will be offered. If you find a problem and choose to send the item
(pen, mechanical pencil, etc.) to someone else to be corrected, I will
not be responsible for any other problems.

    Happy penning!
