    In the Guardian on Monday
    Let's hope that it'll remind those who get pens of any kind at Christmas to use them
    Some days, it's hardly worth chewing through the leather straps....

    Yes, a very interesting article; good for the French!

    I'm biased of course (otherwise I wouldn't be here I suppose) but I agree that abandonment of teaching of cursive writing would be a major error. One clue that occurs to me is the laughable - or rather tragic - 'English' that one sees from time to time in eBay listings!
