My Visconti Cosmos pens arrived yesterday. Pictures in the Visconti thread. The love affair is in full swing. :-)

Received a vintage pen in the post today, when it turned up found out it was a Platignum cadet.

Pilot Metropolitan, black croc. Very scratchy nib, took almost an hour with micromesh to get it smooth (kind of weird - always heard that they were smooth writers out of the box). Writes wonderfully now though.

Just received a Moore set, demi-sized pen and matching pencil. Nib may need stuff, but I've never seen a section as transparent as this one has, and the body material is lovely...

So I think I'm sunk. In only a few weeks my fountain pen collection jumped from a couple which were a generous PIF from a friend to 7 now after I received my 2nd order today from The Goulet Pen Co.

Today's order was primarily for my wife, but I was able to add something for myself. Here's the list with a few pictures to follow.

    My wife's kit:

LAMY Safari in white; 1.1 italic nib; converter
    Noodler's Cactus Fruit Eel ink
    Clairefontaine spiral notebook, small
Leuchtturm 1917 large notebook, lined; Lavender

    Additions to my kit:

TWSBI mini Classic; extra-fine nib (installed); 1.1mm stub italic nib
Private Reserve ink -- Sherwood Green (fast dry)

An Indian Deccan Advocate olive ripple ebonite huge pen. Bigger than my 146. It writes smooth but no springy.

Just bought my first Kaweco...the Sport Classic in Burgundy. Didn't expect it to be so small but it is an excellent writer. My first Fine nib too and thought it would write rather dry but it writes fairly wet. Nice little pen and I see a couple more in my future.

The previous Kaigelu 316 is so cool, I ordered another one. The picture doesn't do much justice to the 3D effect of the finish unfortunately.

My wife just got that pen but with the 1.1 stub nib. She loves it. I have the charcoal with EF nib inked with Noodler's Bernanke Blue. Great pen. Enjoy it!

Nisstiiv Safety pen arrived today. Not quite a VP but a nice little "vanishing point" nonetheless.

Congratulations, Great pen. I've found Poussière De Lune runs a little dry with my Lamy EF nibs.

Noodler's Konrad Ebonite in Methuselah's Pinecone Ripple. I almost didn't get it, because the picture on the Goulet Pens website is so ugly, but this thing is truly gorgeous. I don't write hard enough to flex the nib, so I'm torn between leaving it as is or placing another order (which is inevitable anyway...) & getting a Fine nib. After my too short, too light Nemosine Singularity, my off-balanced Straffen Achat, & my just-this-side-of-too-heavy Nemosine Fission, the Noodler's Ebonite feels like pure magic. It is the perfect length, diameter, & weight, and it has a comfortable, indefinable texture.
Since I spend much of my day grading papers, I have kept it loaded with Chesterfield Siam. This ink looks like blood, which goes well with our current unit of Poe and other horror short stories

Got these through out last week. Just a bunch of random bulk vintage stuff from ebay. So far among the ones I have been able to identified are a parker 25, 21, vector, frontier, and a duofold. Some shaefers, sometging labeled E. Fabous and another labeled Morrison's. Just got some stuff to try my hand at restoration

This arrived a Tuesday: a Nakaya Piccolo string-rolled in shiro-tamenuri with a soft medium nib.

With all these beautiful pens, I'm almost embarrassed to say that today I got in the mail the white Sailor Clear Candy pen in fine point. I just thought the little anchors around the cap were so cute. And it is a smooth little writer!
