Hi! Thanks to friends and caring FPners who supported me for my pens, drawings and postcards, I was able to get some equipment and increase own experience on one more step.

So, which imprint design do you like more? (practiced on the remains of defective parts)

    I prefer the understated ones:
    Top picture:
    From top to bottom: 1/4/5.
I prefer black and the yellow.
2/3 are too busy to my taste

As continuation of my previous model, I decided to improve the design for those who need to see the color of filled ink in the pen and its volume. In the rest, it is the same medium-sized ebonite pen like my previous “Tribute”, but addition also adapted to the Schmidt K5 converter.

Greetings to all fountain pen lovers! Today I want to show the next level design of my pen Tribute, but in deluxe version. In fact, this is my DolceVita, but because it is a registered trademark, I will name this color design as Lumine)).

Hello! For a long time I wanted to try this model and compare it with the Custom 742, and now I finally have this opportunity. Unlike Sailor with their clear distinction between cigar-shaped 1911s and cylindrical flat-top ProGears, Pilot didn’t take the easy way to customers and decided to little confuse users with Custom and Custom Heritage lines.

Pilot Custom Heritage 912 w|FAlcon nib (made in Japan) FKVH-2MR-B-FA

Heritage is a legacy, so the shape of the body is similar to the early fountain pens – cylindrical with flat ends. In general, it is very similar to the 91 and 92 models, but also to the 845 and top Urushi. The body is made of black resin with chromium-plated fittings. Filling systemcartridge-converter, its proprietary Pilot format. Cap on thread, 2-way threads, opening/ losing in 1 1/4 turns.

Thank you, by the majority of votes I chose the 6 as the final one, only the coat of arms was moved to the blind cap.

I already have a review on similar resin model Graf von Faber-Castell Guilloche, but this has a few differences, so let’s take a look:

Graf von Faber-Castell Classic Ebony Wood (made in Germany) 145550

The shape of body of this tool is straight cylindrical with branded design of cap that expands to the top and for some reason reminds me of old fire hydrant. The body of pen made of brass with Ebony Wood overchase. Metal parts are made also of brass but platinum plated. The filling system is cartridge-converter, international format, and complete by branded converter. Unlike the Guilloche model, this сap on thread, thread is 4-starts and short with open/close in half of turn.

Hi! I’ve been dreaming of getting this model with gold accents and yellow-colored nib for a long time, but for some reason, the Pilot now produces it in a chrome finish. Fortunately, I found it on sale and bought a used one, but with a nuance that I fixed myself.

Pilot Namiki Falcon (Elabo) <SF> w|gold accents (made in Japan) 60152

The tool is a cylindrical shape with slightly tapered and flat ends. The material of the body is black resin, it is strange that in the backlight in thin places (on threads) it glows green color, but where the thickness is greater it has an orange or brown color. The filling system is cartridge/converter, of the proprietary Pilot format. The feed is made of a bluish translucent plastic, typical for Pilot (since the 70s), and is mounted with nib in section on friction. The shape of feed is made in such a way that the complex beak-like shape of the nib fits snugly against the feed in only one right position. Cap on thread , 2-start thread, closure in 2 and 1/4 turns.

Hello! I already have some reviews of this model in the classic black version with soft and flexible nib, but today a review of the attractive dark red design.

    Pilot Custom 742 Deep Red w|EF 14k nib(made in Japan) FKK-2000R-DREF

This fountain pen is part of the Custom line and differs from its other models only by size and color with a similar shape, and the shape of this pen is traditionally cigar-shaped with rounded top. The material of the pen is dark-red resin. The filling system is cartridge-converter, proprietary Pilot format. Cap on thread(two-start), full closure in 1 1/4 turn.

Hello friends! I already have several reviews of the younger models of this brand, both modern and previous, but I remember that 5-7 years later there was information that the brand was discontinued production of Italic type nibs and leaving only Oblique nibs to usually standard ones. So, judging by everything, maybe under a new owner, the company decided resumed the production of Italic nibs, albeit in a steel version, but I think it is still interesting to look at these nibs.

Pelikan Classic M200 Brown Marble w| stainless steel IB nib (made in Germany)

This is a modern, M200 model in a pearl brown resin body with a marble texture and translucent brown viewing ink window. The shape is classic for Pelikans, is straight cylindrical with slightly rounded ends. Filling system – piston-filler. Cap on thread, 4-starts thread, very fast closing/opening in half a turn.
