FPGeeks on InstagramHere's a better shot of the clip on my vintage Gold Starry safety pen. It has dragons! Freaking dragons, man! How cool is that?!fpgeeks201In collaboration with Delta, RiKwill has released the BluVelvet, one of three pens in the new Caged Series. The transparent blue resin under the silver colored metal cage shows off the internal workings of the pen providing a great look at the piston mechanism. I saw these first hand at the DC Pen Show and they were pretty cool looking! Visit fpgeeks.com for more info.fpgeeks1213I received this Stipula Fleur de lis from Chatterley Luxuries yesterday and I'm already putting it to good use writing 'thank you' notes. The clip is made from silver and the overlay is titanium, as is the nib! This is an exclusive design to Chatterley Luxuries limited to 38 pieces and I've got number 00. Check with Bryant for the best price on these.fpgeeks1889Just hit the mother load of Fountain Pen Day goodies! Don't forget to celebrate on the first Friday in November!fpgeeks1549I just got my first safety fountain pen delivered from the UK today! It's a Gold Starry made in France around the late 1920s. The woodgrain/mottled hard rubber is in outstanding condition and the clip is absolutely exquisite! More pics to come!fpgeeks1804Chatterley Luxuries' table was like an endless buffet of gold nibbed addiction. One could easily spend a whole day browsing their 5 tables.fpgeeks2433Broke out the flex nibs for this round of thank you notes.fpgeeks23012The PenBoot is now available at our website for $17. It comes in six colors: Churchill brown (shown), brown, black, red, and off white. There are a variety of interior color option and the stitching comes in white or black. Please visit fpgeeks.com for more details.fpgeeks1196I've been using this new single pen sleeve called the PenBoot for a few weeks now and it's the perfect protection for my pens as far as daily carry goes. I like pen sleeves because they fit well in a pants pocket without being bulky while still protecting the pen from keys or change or whatever. The pen on top is a 146 and on bottom is a 149. The 149 easily slides down into the sleeve for complete coverage. I just have the cap sticking out here for aesthetic reasons.fpgeeks22520Mike Masuyama is one of the greatest nib meisters out there and one of the nicest people I've ever met. He's the only one I let touch my nibs if I don't do the work myself. Visit his site at MikeItWork.com. I promise it'll be the best money you ever spent!fpgeeks1639
