There's a pretty good deal on the J. Herbin Rocker Blotter and blotter paper on Massdrop. If 35 people participate, the price for the bundle is $25.99. It's currently $29.99, which is what the blotter itself costs on Goulet.

I bought one several months ago from Goulet. It's quite a nice item.

Strange pricing, regular retail for the set is less than $25

Not so strange when you keep in mind that you're quoting a Dutch retailer on a French product. It will still have to be shipped to the US to compete with the massdrop offer for those interested. Doing that for $2.18 will be quite the challenge.

But the massdrop offer is shipped from the US. You're talking about a product made in France. Of course buying it in Holland will be cheaper... the retailer doesn't have to ship it across the Atlantic (when done by the container load it'll be pennies per item but I don't think J. Herbin sells that many). So when you're comparing the price in Holland with the price in the US... the US offer starting at $2 more isn't really that bizar.

Shipping in the US is given as $1.64.
