Dent to barrel

Hi all, I've got a bad dent / push in on the barrell of a Parker 75 sterling ball point. Are there any tools available for me to have a go to repair myself or a technical job ? Thinking that as silver I could damage with my clumsy oafish approach ? Any advice appreciated . Many thanks garry

does dent repair. You might want to get an idea from him about how much money you're trying to save by trying to DIY. I'm sure I don't have the knowledge or skill to make it like it never happened.

In terms of toolage, you'll need a mandrel to put the barrel on - you could make one yourself if you have a metal lathe but that's quite a big investment of time and effort.
