I recently wrote a blog post about a 1989 Parker Vector Calligraphy Set that found it's way to me through a co-worker's husband's Grandma. A visitor to my blog thought I should share, so here's the link: https://inlovewithjournals.wordpress.com/2015/01/18/parker-vector-calligraphy-set/ Let me know what you think.

Thank you Lady Onogaro! I write about what makes me happy, and that's fountain pens, notebooks and ink. I'm glad others enjoy it too. :)

I can't tell from your photos, but it looks like a few of the nibs have suffered over their time in the box. Am I right, or is it ink on them? Do you see yourself using that pelleted nib for everyday writing?

Such fond memories......I had that set in my younger years. Thanks for posting a great review.

The nibs have ink on them. I thought they looked quite fine; I think Grandma only used one of the nibs. Yes I'm really loving the pelleted nib and I can see myself journaling with it.

I bought a set, not that particular box, but was out and about somewhere and lost the pen (still had all but one of the nibs...). My hubby bought a different set as a replacement. I currently have havasu turquoise (Diamine) in it.
