This is a 2003 USA made Sheaffer Legacy Heritage fountain pen model 9031. The cap and barrel are brushed 23ct gold electroplate with 23ct gold plated trim and fitted with a solid 18ct gold nib. Cap and barrel are metal. Cap and barrel show light storage wear but no dents, scratches, gouges, or brassing. Cap band is free of corrosion or brassing. Imprints are deep and crisp. Cap snaps down firmly and securely. Pen comes with the Sheaffer converter and display box. The nib is a smooth wet writer as shown in the writing sample in the last picture.
