Are you sure that is a KF nib? It looks to me more like a DF nib (manifold).

You can always tell the 'D' type nibs by the 2 holes in the nib.

Which ones don't have 2 holes?
All the vintage 140/400/M series manifold nibs I have seen have 2 holes.

Interested, but what is a "manifold" nib? How does it compare to a non-manifold F nib? Also, any idea of year of manufacture?

DM - (Durchschreib- Mittel) - MANIFOLD(carbon copy) MEDIUM -, I would say it's perfect to take quick notes. small line variation is possible however the nib is rather stiff than flex one

Is that a two-tone nib or no? Hard to tell from the photo, and I'm not too knowledgeable about the nib that you guys are talking about either.

I don't think the 140/400 nibs were ever two-tone.
Manifold nibs were great for carbon copies and for those who like to write with a nail instead of anything flexible.

This pen has been available for long enough. I will buy it if not yet sold. Dave?
