I'm a new member and I just stumbled onto these Pay It Forward threads, which are a wonderful idea. I've got some extra bottles of ink I'll be happy to send off to new homes. They all have been opened and used a little, but the colors just didn't work for me.

This thread is for Rohrer & Klinger Scabiosa, 50 ml bottle, nearly full. Dusty purple iron-gall ink.

I'll hold this open for a week, and will do a random draw of all entries on Monday February 9th at 8pm. Everyone's welcome to enter, including international (although if postage gets really prohibitive to someplace far from the U.S., I may ask for someone to share a bit of the shipping costs. I hope that's okay.)

Good luck!
Elaine

This is one of my favorite inks to use with my pocket notebook. If you haven't tried it, you should put your name in. (I am already sold on this ink, so not an entry, thanks.)

I would like to enter if I may. I only had a sample from Goulet pens and really liked it. Much more than expected.

I have always fancied trying R&K Scabiosa, but it isn't an ink that's easy to get here. I would love to enter, and I can either wait and have it shipped within the US or I can contribute towards shipping to the UK

Been wanting to try an IG ink, and this gets recommended regularly. Count me in, and thank you!

I was not going to enter, but my daughter saw this thread and remembered liking this ink when one of my pen pals wrote with it. "What?!? Dad," she yelled, "if your name got picked, you could give it to me!"
*sigh* teenagers... On behalf of my little princess, I guess I'm in. Thanks for doing this PIF, Elaine.

It's a great ink--I have a bottle of it that I use from time to time.
